Edmonton Organic Grower’s Guild is a communal garden located on land provided by the University of Alberta on its South Campus. Members work year-round to plan, plant, nurture, harvest, donate (and enjoy!) vegetables straight from the garden.
We get started early in a large hoop house, and then plant almost three acres in the fields. We also have a large composting operation. All vegetables are grown without pesticides. Much of the harvest goes to charities; check out our donations by year.
We are very much a community, and you can feel it as soon as you start participating in our many activities, whether it’s sowing, weeding, harvesting, or one of our potluck events (COVID allowing).
