“When it is understood that one loses joy and happiness in the attempt to possess them, the essence of natural farming will be realized. The ultimate goal of farming is not the growing of crops, but the cultivation and perfection of human beings”
Growers, start your perfection engines!
Seed selection is one of the most important decisions we make in any given crop year. So let’s get together and figure out what worked and what didn’t.
Thursday January 12th 6:00 PM @ Cafe Tiramisu, 10750 – 124 street
Let’s meet and eat some free Thincrust Pizza and go over what we want to grow this season. Cafe Tiramisu has a room set aside for community groups and a children’s play area with all sorts of books and games, so if you have a kid or a few bring them along.
This is our chance to decide:
- Heirloom varieties?
- Organic Grain Production?
- Different Herbs?
- Flowers?
- Green Manures?
- Fruit Tree Orchards?
- New improved vegetable varieties?
- Permaculture?
- Biodynamics?
